How World Wardle Works
A global, asynchronous competition built from publicly shared daily Wordle results. No sign-up required — just post your score on Bluesky and you're in.
Three Simple Steps
Solve the Daily Wordle
Play Wordle each day like you normally would. No special app or registration needed.
Post your Wordle result to Bluesky. Our system automatically finds and collects your score from the standard Wordle share format.
Get Matched & Compete
Once the puzzle closes globally, you're randomly paired against another player. Lower score wins the battle. Points add up across the week.
How Scoring Works
Daily Points
Each day you play, you earn points from three sources:
Performance
Battle Result
Streak Bonus
Weekly Placement Bonuses
At the end of each week (Sunday), the top 10 players earn bonus points added to their all-time score:
Daily Timeline
Wordle puzzles advance at the International Date Line (UTC+12). At any moment, three puzzles are tracked globally:
New puzzle released
At IDL midnight (12:00 UTC), a new Wordle number begins for the first timezone. We start collecting scores immediately.
Puzzle sweeps westward
Over 24 hours, each timezone gets the same puzzle. Players post their scores on Bluesky as they solve it.
Puzzle closes globally
When the last timezone finishes (48 hours after release), the puzzle is complete. Everyone has had a fair chance to play.
Battles run
2 hours after close (14:00 UTC), players are randomly paired. Scores are compared, winners determined, and daily points calculated.
